I use Windows Live On Windows XP SP3...
If Only I used MSN Hotmail, But its been changed to Windows Live Hotmail.......So anyway, back to my Question...Suppose I E-mail Somebody, lets say a real Person that I know, If I E-mail that Person, usually In The Sent Folder, It will show the person Who I Just E-mailed...But it Doesn't!
after when I compose an email, usually there should be listed all the e-mails that I have Sent, But It wont show up in my SENT Folder for some odd reason, any idea why???
is it like that on yours?
thanks!
Howcome when I E-mail someone on Windows Live Hotmail, My Sent Folder is Always Empty?
Mine use to do that too. It's a default setting to 'not save a copy' and you have to set it so save one whenever you send an email. Click the options button with the down arrow and then the more options. On the next page scroll down to customize your mail then 'save sent messages'.
Hope that helps

How can I remove chinese advertisements from my messenger and hotmail pages on windows live?
are you talking about on the messenger itself? if that is the case, look into using trillian or pidgin. both support multiple protocols, so you can talk to people on other chat systems (i.e. AIM, Yahoo...etc.)
I like pidgin a lot, but it seems to be slightly unstable in Ubuntu 8.04.

you will have to go to your Options/Settings in Hotmail and change your country to Canada or US or some other english country for that.

Is anyone else having problems with Windows Live Hotmail?
It constantly keeps asking to verify my account with those letter and number things, even though I do it correctly, it still asks to confirm my account and won't let me send an email.
I've asked in Windows Live Help Centre, 2 Windows Live staff have said they've fixed my problem, but I still can't send emails for the same reason as before.
Does anyone know if there's anything I can do, or do I have to wait until they fix it?

hi
鈻篤erify your e-mail address:
If you used your own e-mail address to create your Windows Live ID (The e-mail address and password that you use to sign in to Windows Live programs and services such as Windows Live Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger; Microsoft services such as Xbox LIVE, MSN, and Office Live; and anywhere else that you see the Windows Live ID logo.) you might be asked to verify your e-mail address.
鈻篊lick Verify your e-mail address.
Make sure the e-mail address shown is correct, and then select Send me verification e-mail.
When you receive the verification e-mail, follow the enclosed instructions.
NOTES
If you receive a This link is no longer valid message when you click the link in your e-mail, click Go to Windows Live Account and select Verify your e-mail address at the top of your account summary to restart the verification process.
If you receive an e-mail asking you to verify your e-mail address and you've not signed up for a Windows Live ID, someone else may be trying to use your e-mail address for their account. You can select to cancel the account from within the e-mail.
If you receive a message stating that your account already exists, you may need to reset your password. For password reset information, see Reset your password.
You may not be able to use your Windows Live ID until you verify your e-mail address.

Reply:No, Kev. I'm so sorry, but I don't seem to have a problem with it. I dont have one of those accounts, so maybe thats why. That really sucks, i had a prob. with rocketmail once, but i didn't last long enough to figure out what the problem was, and since your such a sweetie pie, i'm sending my best wishes for you to get it all worked out.
Reply:I'm having the same problems too , it's very annoying to be constantly asked to provide ID and passwords and all that! I think the best policy is just to wait till they fix it, probably just a glitch in the system it happens from time to time.

Anyone else having login troubles with Windows Live Hotmail with Safari?
Last night I opened my Hotmail in Safari no problem whatsoever and now when I try to log into Hotmail it keeps looping around and around redirecting through the same 3 domains but never finishing and opening up my inbox. I can log into it from Firefox but I'd rather use Safari. Anyone else having Hotmail login problems with Safari?
Anyone else having login troubles with Windows Live Hotmail with Safari?
Yeah I have all the time. the thing is what you need to do is remember to log out anytime you use your email.or try to restart your computer
Reply:this is how it worked for me.
1. first go to login.live.com
2. login
3. i changed my password (needed to update it) but you don't have to do this step i dont think..
4. then go to hotmail.com and should work.
Reply:I watched this video on YouTube about whats on a guys dock, when he gets to firefox he says its only for hotmail because safari has a problem. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_R7PRqkdR...
Reply:perhaps u can try to look if there is any FAQ to the problem?maybe some one had already posted the solutions on their website FAQ?

Block someone from contacting you on Windows Live Hotmail?
This friend, who I met on the internet, is very annoying. I already blocked her on MSN from keeping her from contacting me, but she wouldn't stop. She keeps sending me emails everyday, I tell her to stop, she wouldn't. D=
How do I block her emails completely? For example, when she tries to send me an email, she receives a message or something that says things like my inbox is full or she can't send an email to me for some reason.
I don't want to just block her emails, like the way where you block and you don't see it. She'll think I just ignore them. I want her to think that her emails are not being sent to me.
Please help? I'm desperate.
Thanks.

Just mark her email as a spam. So next time her email will go directly to Spam
Reply:Have you tried flagging her emails as 'Spam'? That may work

How to get Windows Live Mail for multiple Hotmail accounts?
I have two accounts I want to get it for, and I've already gotten it for one; I can't figure out how to get it for the other....
How to get Windows Live Mail for multiple Hotmail accounts?
it's like a promotion sort of. refresh the mail page a lot maybe, and look for a link that says, "Try Windows Mail Live Beta." then you're in.
since it's still in beta, they are just looking for a bunch of people to test it and (hopefully) give some feedback on it. anyway, not everyone will always be offered the opportunity to try it out, not every account.
good luck.
